A turtle twist on classic cocktails
Turtle mojito
Ingredients- 50 ml Turtle Roll Rum
- 3 mint leaves
- 1 lime
- 2 tsp Demerara sugar
- Splash of sugar syrup
- Soda
- Pull the mint leaves off the stalk. Place into a tall glass, squeeze and add 2 lime wedges, a splash of sugar syrup and the sugar. Mix with a muddler to bring flavours together. Add Turtle Roll Rum, the remaining lime wedges, and loads of crushed ice. Stir, then top up with soda and garnish with a mint sprig.
Ginger Turtle
Ingredients- 50 ml Turtle Roll Rum
- Fresh ginger
- Ginger Ale
- Cut 3 strips of sweet fresh ginger. Place in a tumbler with ice. Pour in Turtle Roll Rum, and swirl to mix. Top up with Ginger Ale and strain into a pre-frozen glass, served over a chunk of block of ice. Garnish with single strip of ginger.
Classic cola
Ingredients- 50 ml Turtle Roll Rum
- Lemon peel, cut into a long strip
- Madagascan Cola
- The complete classic, rum and coke turtle style. Load your glass with ice and a thick cut strip of lemon peel. Pour in the Turtle Roll, and simply top up with Cola. The vanilla from the cola pairs perfectly with the nose and palate of our rum.
